Primeau Headlines List of Past and Present Representatives

BOSTON, MA -- The trends continue to add up for the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), as again this season, a handful of players have been selected to represent their respective country at the upcoming World Junior Championship.

Cayden Primeau (Philadelphia Revolution)

Headlining this year's list of representatives is an EHL alum who is in his sophomore season at Northeastern University. Cayden Primeau was the anchor behind the Philadelphia Revolution during the 2015-16 season, and at the end of the year, he was named the Goaltender of the Year in the EHL.

Following the 2015-16 season, Primeau continued his development by spending a year with the Lincoln Stars in the United States Hockey League (USHL). While there, he continued to garner plenty of attention, and that pattern has continued throughout his collegiate hockey career. Primeau is arguably one of the best goaltenders in the Hockey East Association (HEA), and to cap it all off, the '99 was selected by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

Now adding to his resume, Primeau has been selected to the 2019 U.S. National Junior Team Preliminary Roster.

Current EHL Players

Changing directions back to players that are currently in the league. The EHL would like to congratulate the following three players who've been chosen to represent their native land.

Cayden Primeau ('99) was dominant during the 2015-16 season, posting a 1.86 GAA, a .951 save percentage, and 5 shutouts.
