BOSTON, MA -- We turn the page to another jam-packed week in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL). The upcoming schedule features all 18 EHL teams in action, with many intriguing matchups across the league. Every point is critical this week, both in terms of making the EHL Playoffs, and then securing the home ice advantage.
EHL Game of the Week
Vermont Lumberjacks vs. Boston Jr. Rangers
2/16/19 at 4:40pm - Breakaway Ice Center
The Rangers and Lumberjacks hit the ice for their third matchup of the 2018-19 regular season. Earlier this year, these two teams split their pair of games up in Vermont. The back end of this two-game set is scheduled for Sunday the 17th at 1:40pm, and we'll find out soon if these rivals are destined to meet in the First Round of the postseason.
Below you'll find the full upcoming schedule through Monday the 18th, and the next set of TSR Hockey Stars of the Week will be released that afternoon. Remember to catch the #Eshow all season long on HockeyTV.
DENNIS, MA -- Cam St. Amand, a forward for the Seahawks Hockey Club, has committed to Johnson and Wales University (JWU) for the fall of 2019. The '98 native of Cumberland, RI is in his first season with the Seahawks, and to date, he's tallied 21 points through 37 games.
"Cam has done a great job for us this season, and we are excited for him and his family to have received this great opportunity," said Seahawks head coach and general manager Bill Zaniboni.
With St. Amand's commitment, the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) has now sent at least one player per season to Wildcats, ever since the league was formed back in 2013. St. Amand is the 22nd player in league history to make this decision, and he's grateful to be spending his final year of junior hockey in the EHL.
St. Amand and the Seahawks are in a tough battle with the East Coast Wizards and the Connecticut RoughRiders for the top spot in the South Division of the New England Conference. In all likelihood, this three-way race for a First Round bye will come down to the final weekend of the regular season. Looking ahead, the Seahawks have a pair of key home games this weekend against the Connecticut Chiefs and the New England Wolves.

BOSTON, MA -- Down the stretch we go, with another jam-packed week in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL). Starting today at 12:30pm, the EHL once again features at least one matchup per day through Monday, and 22 total games on the schedule. By this time next week, there's a possibility that three of the four First Round byes will be officially clinched.
EHL Game of the Week
East Coast Wizards vs. Philadelphia Little Flyers
2/7/19 at 4:30pm - IceWorks Skating Complex
The Wizards and Little Flyers hit the ice for the second and final time during the regular season. In the first meeting, that also took place in Pennsylvania, the Little Flyers erased a three-goal deficit in the 3rd period as they battled their way back for a huge 5-4 victory. The Wizards are out for revenge this time around, in what could be a preview for a matchup that we see again at the EHL Frozen Finals.
