LACONIA, NH -- Roger Powers, a defenseman for the New England Wolves, has committed to SUNY Canton for the Fall of 2018. In his first season in the EHL, the '97 has tallied 11 points in 31 total games to date.
“Roger has come into our program, been a leader, and set a good example," said Wolves head coach and general manager Andrew Trimble. "We are proud and excited for this next chapter in his hockey and academic career.”
Powers and the Wolves currently find themselves just 4 points back of the final playoff spot in the North Conference, and they'll look to begin making up that ground when they return to action on Saturday to take on the Total Athletics Seahawks.
