RoughRiders Second-Year Forward Set to Join Greyhounds in the NE-10

NORWALK, CT -- Nick Fall, a forward for the Connecticut RoughRiders, has committed to Assumption University for the fall of 2023.

The '02 native of Greenwood Village, CO spent a pair of seasons with the RoughRiders program, and over the course of 79 career games in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), Fall tallied 68 total points to his credit on 20 goals and 48 assists.

“Nick’s development as a playmaker marks his most significant growth this past season," said RoughRiders head coach and general manager Eric Lind. "He’s always proficient in small-area distribution, especially crafty from below the hash marks, on the half-wall and behind the net. He can force his way to the middle and drives the net at every opportunity. Nick understands timing and searching for open ice and will be a valuable asset at the college level.”

Fall brings the EHL's total up to 30, in terms of players that have committed to Assumption out of the league. Focusing in on this past season in particular, and Fall is the 6th player from the 2022-23 season to commit to the Greyhounds, rounding out a solid incoming freshmen class.

When he arrives on campus in September, he will become new teammates with Callum Welch from H.C. Rhode Island, Nick Demio from the New England Wolves, Patrick McKiernan from the New Hampshire Avalanche, and both Dan Lemanski and Nate Palumbo from the Railers Junior Hockey Club.
