Terriers Forward Set to Join Hawks Next Fall

CANTON, MA -- Connor Peet, a forward for the Boston Jr. Terriers, has committed to Saint Anselm College for the fall of 2024.

The '03 native of Charlotte, VT chose the Terriers for his first and only season of junior hockey, and through 26 total Eastern Hockey League (EHL) games to date, Peet has tallied 15 points to his credit on seven goals and eight assists.

"We are tremendously proud of Connor," said Terriers head coach and general manager Cody Gonyeau "As a graduate of our affiliate program, American Hockey Academy, Connor is the first player in our inaugural EHL season to commit to play in the NCAA. He is a great player with a very competitive edge. I know he will find a lot success in his future and be a valuable asset to the Saint Anselm hockey team. Go Hawks!"

As Gonyeau referenced, Peet is a graduate of the American Hockey Academy, the affiliate program of the Boston Jr. Terriers. With that on his resume, it makes it the perfect fit that Peet goes in the books as the first NCAA Commitment in program history for the Terriers.

"I am excited to announce my commitment to Saint Anselm College," said Peet. "I am looking forward to becoming a Hawk and to pursue my education at Saint Anselm. I would like to thank my coaches, friends, and most importantly, my family, for supporting me and getting me to where I am today."

Peet and the Terriers enter the holiday break with a record of 13-10-3, which currently places them in 4th place in the competitive East Division. Coming out of the break in the new year, the Terriers will return to action on Thursday, January 4th, when they travel to take on the Express Hockey Club in Walpole, MA.
