The '03 native of Manchester, CT is in his second season with the Avalanche, and over the course of 66 career games in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), Pelletier has tallied 16 total points to his credit on four goals and 12 assists.

It's also worth pointing out that Pelletier's eight points this year matches the eight points he posted for the entire 2022-23 season, so he will surely set new high marks in his age-out campaign.

"I am very excited for Kyle on his commitment to Suffolk University," said Avalanche head coach and general manager Chris Cerrella. "Not only is this a great fit for him athletically, but it’s also a great fit for him academically. Suffolk has been his target school this season and he has reached his goal. Pelletier is a great young man and I am proud of who he has become both on and off the ice. I’m excited to watch him throughout his collegiate career. I wish him and his family the best in the future!"

With Pelletier's decision, the EHL has now committed at least one player per season to Suffolk since the league was formed back in 2013. Overall, Pelletier is the 38th player in league history to choose the Rams' program.

"I would like to thank Coach [Shawn] McEachern for giving me this opportunity. I would also like to thank my family for the love and support that they have shown me. I am also thankful to Coach [Dave] Ries of Brooks School, Coach Cerrella, and the Avalanche program for the support and guidance that they have given me over the past couple of years of my hockey career."

Pelletier and the Avalanche are set to return from the holiday break on January 11th, when they play host to the New England Wolves at Noon.
