Avalanche Goaltender Set to Join New Program this Fall

HOOKSETT, NH -- Antoine Robidoux, a goaltender for the New Hampshire Avalanche, has committed to Misericordia University for the fall of 2024.

Robidoux is in his second season with the Avalanche, and over the course of 29 career starts in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), the '03 native Canada has amassed a record of 20-7-2 to his name.

"Antoine has done a tremendous job for us over the last two seasons," said Avalanche head coach and general manager Chris Cerrella. "He is a hard working student-athlete and he is a tremendous young man. I am very happy for him and what he has accomplished here with us in New Hampshire. I wish him and his family nothing but the best of luck in the future."

That future will now take him to a new program, as the Cougars will be kicking off their inaugural season of NCAA Division III hockey this upcoming fall. Robidoux is proud of his decision and is looking for to helping Misericordia build a great foundation in Dallas, PA.

"I am proud to announce my commitment to Misericordia University," said Robidoux. "I want to thank my family, and most importantly my parents, they have really helped me become the person I am today. I want to thank my past coaches and would like to thank Coach Cerrella and the Avalanche for all the support I received throughout my hockey career. I am excited to be a Cougar!"

Robidoux and Avalanche return from the holiday break on Thursday, when they play host to the New England Wolves at Noon.
