The '03 native of Sarver, PA is in his second season with the Express, and over the course of 71 career games in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), Smilowitz has tallied 35 points to his credit on 12 goals and 23 assists.

"Keith has been an absolute pleasure to coach the past 2 seasons," said Express head coach Nic Cota. "His effort to get better each day in the time with the Express, speaks highly of him as a person and player. Myself and the Express are extremely happy for Keith and his family on his commitment to Post University, and wish them all a wonderful journey ahead!"

Smilowitz is one of two EHL players that have committed to Post so far this season, as he will team up with Owen Atkinson of the East Coast Wizards when he arrives on campus this fall. Overall, the Eagles have now committed 28 total players from the EHL, since the league was formed back in 2013.

"I'd like to thank everyone that’s been in my corner since the start of my junior hockey career," said Smilowitz. "I’d especially like to thank my family for their endless support that they’ve given me during this time to give me the chances and resources necessary to bring my all every day I step onto the ice. As well as to the Express organization to give me the platform to grow and show my skills in the game of hockey. It’s been a pleasure to play with two groups of guys as special as these, and an honor to be coached by Coach Cota and Coach Kyle [Robertson] with their patience and instruction that they’ve given to me."

Smilowitz and the Express return to the ice on Thursday, when they play host to the Seacoast Spartans at 12-Noon. With three games in hand over the first-place East Coast Wizards, Smilowitz and the Express will look to keep things rolling down the stretch and into the upcoming East Division Playoffs.
