Bandits Twins Each Set to Join Owls this Fall

BRIDGEWATER, MA -- Brody Davidson and Owen Davidson of the Bridgewater Bandits have committed to Keene State College for the fall of 2024.

The '03 natives of Plainville, CT each chose the Bandits for their final season of junior hockey. To date this year, Brody has tallied 15 total points, all while playing in all 43 games at the forward position. As for Owen, the defenseman has hit the ice for 41 games, notching five points to his credit along the way.

"I am so excited for both Brody & Owen," said Bandits head coach and general manager Scott Drevitch. "They came here to the Bandits with a great attitudes and willing to learn. They are both great teammates on and of the ice, and they have worked extremely hard to get to this point. Both of their games have gotten better each week and with their work ethic and I'm sure they will have great success at Keene St. College."

As the Keene State College Owls get set to begin play at the NCAA Division III level this fall, they are building a strong core of players from the EHL. Along with the Davidson brothers, the following players have also committed to Keene State for this upcoming fall, Ryan Koshiol from the East Coast Wizards, Luke Festa from the Connecticut RoughRiders, Chase Carney from the Railers Jr. Hockey Club, and both Jared Martin and Shane Mazur from the Connecticut Chiefs.

"I excited to be continuing my hockey career at Keene State College," said Brody. "I would like to thank Coach [Bobby] Rodrigue for giving me this opportunity. I would also like to thank my friends and family as well as Coach Drevitch for providing the support and guidance that have helped me get where I am today."

Owen went on to offer similar sentiment of gratitude.

"This year with the Bridgewater Bandits has been a great experience," said Owen. "Coach Drevitch has been great to work with. He has helped me improve as a player and a person. I am excited to extend my hockey career at Keene State College and work with Coach Rodrique."

The Davidson, along with the rest of their teammates with the Bandits are gearing up the final weekend of the regular season. With three showcase games remaining in Philadelphia, Bridgewater still has a chance of reaching the postseason, but they will need to take care of business in their respective games, and get a little help, in order to secure their spot.
