Warriors Second-Year, All-Star Captain Set to Join Cadets this Fall

HAVERHILL, MA -- Cole Fagan, a forward for the Valley Jr. Warriors, has committed to Norwich University for the fall of 2024.

The '03 native of North Andover, MA is in his second season with the Warriors, and over the course of 78 career games in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), Fagan has tallied 60 points to his credit on 27 goals and 33 assists.

"The Valley Jr. Warriors are so incredibly proud of Cole’s commitment to study and play at Norwich," said Warriors head coach and general manager Ryan McGrath. "Cole earned this commitment by believing who he truly is as a player and working non-stop to be better each day. As a captain, he has also demonstrated the ability to care for others and make all those around him better."

Proof of Fagan's development can be seen clearly through his offensive production, as after tallying 23 points throughout the entire 2022-23 campaign, he has already notched 37 points to his credit so far this year.

The bump in production, along with the display of leadership that McGrath mentioned, were just a pair of reasons as to why Fagan was selected to the EHL's North/East All-Star Team that faced-off against Rivier University and Southern New Hampshire University back in October.

"First off, I would like to thank my parents and family for all their support over the years," said Fagan. "Secondly, I would like to thank my brothers and coaches at Valley. These last two years have been so amazing and I will forever be a proud VJW alumni. I am looking forward to the challenge of becoming a Cadet and playing for Coach Ellsworth."

Fagan and the Warriors hit the ice against the Seacoast Spartans tomorrow, before heading down to Philadelphia this weekend for three showcase games to end the regular season. If they can take care of business throughout this final stretch, Valley will secure a spot in the upcoming North Division Playoffs.
