Douglas Commits to Morrisville State

Express Forward Set to Join Mustangs this Fall

WALPOLE, MA -- Myles Douglas, a forward for the Express Hockey Club, has committed to Morrisville State for the fall of 2024.

The '03 native of Fuquay Varina, NC chose the Express for his final season of junior hockey, and over the course of 42 total games in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), Douglas notched six points to his credit on three goals and three assists.

"Myles is one of those guys you wish you could have back for 1 more season," said Express head coach Nic Cota. "Every day he comes to the rink with a huge smile on his face. I look forward to seeing all the success he has moving forward. Morrisville is definitely getting a good one here! Congratulations to Myles and his family, we will be watching from a far."

Douglas is one of two EHL players that have chosen Morrisville for this upcoming season, as he will team up with Maxim Maziarchuk from the New York Apple Core when he arrives on campus.

"I’d like to thank all the coaches, teammates, and family that have helped me along the way," said Douglas. "I’d like to specifically thank my mother for the support and resources that she has given to me over the years. Thank you to the Express organization for giving me a home for my last season of juniors. I am truly grateful for the opportunities it brought me. I can’t thank Coach Cota and Coach Kyle enough for bringing me in this past season and pushing me everyday to become a better player and person. I’m extremely excited to play in college at Morrisville for the next four years."
