The '03 native of Moskva, Russia began his first and only season in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) with the Seacoast Spartans, but it was with the Chiefs where his game took off. He boasted a .931 save percentage in 17 games with Connecticut, added a shutout to resume, and posted 41 saves in a 2-1 win over the eventual league champions, the Railers Jr. Hockey Club.

“Artur was a rock for us this season," said Chiefs head coach and general manager Greg Heffernan. "He is a wonderful person and will add so much to the Keene State community. He has also recently been named to the Israeli National Team that will compete in the World Championships. I am very excited to follow his bright future both in the NCAA and internationally.”

Dzhilavyan is part of an extensive list of EHL players joining Keene State for their inaugural season at the NCAA Division III level. This list includes fellow Chiefs teammates Jared Martin and Shane Mazur.

“I want to thank Coach Rodrigue for the opportunity to go to Keene State this Fall,” said Dzhilavyan. “I had a tremendous experience in my time playing in the EHL, and in particular, for the Connecticut Chiefs organization. With the speed and skill of the league, it was great for exposure to move to the next level. Coach Heffernan was fantastic with helping me get settled into a new country as well as with the team. He worked with me all year to help advance to the collegiate level. I am excited for the next chapter and to be a part of the Owls.”
