Jr. Terriers Foward Joins Eagles

CANTON, MA -- Jonathan Meijer, a forward for the Boston Jr. Terriers, has committed to Post University for the fall of 2024.

An '03 from Mölndal, Sweden, Meijer played 45 games in the 2023-24 season, recording five goals and six assists for a total of 11 points.

"Jonathan was a player that did everything we asked of him," said Terriers head coach and general manager Cody Gonyeau. "He came in and played a certain role that made us very competitive. I'm very proud of him for his commitment to play at Post University. He is very deserving of this opportunity, and I know he will bring a ton of value to their team!"

Meijer will join Post University along with several other EHL alumni, including Bradley McMains from the Boston Jr. Rangers, Owen Atkinson from the East Coast Wizards, Keith Smilowitz from the Express Hockey Club, and Max Beaulac from the Railers Junior Hockey Club.

"I'm thrilled about my commitment to play college hockey at Post University," said Meijer. "The coaches and community have been incredibly supportive. I look forward to growing both as an athlete and as a student at Post, and I can’t wait to get started. My time with the Jr. Terriers was amazing, and it was a special place to have called my home. The friendships I've made will last a lifetime. Playing for Coach Gonyeau and Coach Mulcahy helped me to continually develop my game, and for that, I'm truly grateful."
