Sam Daley - A True Inspiration

HOOKSETT, NH - Sam Daley spent the 2011-12 season with the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs, and then put together a solid four-year career at New York University. If only it was that simple.

In 2013, Daley was diagnosed with Bell's palsy, which causes temporary facial weakness or paralysis. The tingling would go off and on for about 15 to 20 minutes every few days, and it was in 2014 when it appeared stronger than ever before. Daley went through a few different MRIs before it was determined that he indeed had a brain tumor.
