Silengo Takes Over Behind the Bench for the Applecore
BREWSTER, NY -- The 2015-16 season is in the past, and all the focus is now shifted towards a fresh start this fall for the New York Applecore. Bill Silengo will be taking over behind the bench this year for the Applecore. Silengo joins the team after coaching 4 years at the NCAA Division III level. Silengo has spent the last 2 years as the top assistant coach for Manhattanville College (ECAC West), and the 2 years prior to that as the top assistant coach for Fredonia State’s men’s hockey team in the SUNYAC.
The Applecore are hoping a new coach brings new life to an organization that is also adding a team to the Elite Division this season.
