BOSTON, MA -- The 2016-17 season is in full gear with 32 games already in the books!

A total of 23 of those games took place this past weekend, as there are now only two teams left to play their first game of the season. This past weekend featured great action in both the Premier and Elite Divisions, with 11 games being decided by two goals or less. Of those 11 games, four of them were decided in either overtime or a shootout.

PREMIER DIVISION

Kicking off the recap with the Premier Division, their were three North Conference teams that won multiple games this past weekend.

The New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs beat the East Coast Wizards on Friday afternoon, and then followed things up with a win over the Walpole Express on Saturday night.

Keeping it in the Granite State, the Northern Cyclones beat the Philadelphia Revolution in overtime on Saturday night, and then picked up another one-goal win over the New York Applecore on Sunday.

Last but not least from the North Conference was the defending Regular Season Champions, the Boston Bandits. The Bandits kicked off their season with a 4-1 win over the Boston Jr. Rangers on Friday afternoon, and then took care of business Sunday afternoon with a 5-2 victory against the New England Wolves.
