BOSTON, MA -- The Quarterfinals begin on Friday, with four compelling matchups across the Premier Division of the Eastern Hockey League. Below you'll find breakdowns of each series taking place this weekend, along with the full schedule of games.

The Philadelphia Little Flyers play host to the New York Applecore, with all three games at Ice Works Complex.
After dropping Game 1 of the First Round, the Little Flyers battled back with a pair of 4-1 victories, eliminating the Connecticut Nighthawks from the playoffs. For the Applecore, they took care of business with a two-game sweep of the Connecticut Oilers.
In the regular season, the Little Flyers won all four games against the Applecore by scores of 8-0, 6-0, 4-0, and 2-1.
The Philadelphia Jr. Flyers play host to the East Coast Wizards, with all three games at Ice Line Quad Rinks.
In the First Round, the Jr. Flyers carried their momentum over from the regular season and swept the Hartford Jr. Wolfpack. Philadelphia has now won 16 games in a row, and are 24-0-1 in their last 25 games.
For the Wizards, the First Round was much more of a battle, as they won Game 3 on the road against the Valley Jr. Warriors.
In the regular season, the Jr. Flyers won each matchup by scores of 5-2 and 3-0. Those two matchups were back on September 23rd and 24th.
When it's the playoffs, it doesn't get much better than the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs and Northern Cyclones.
In the first round, both New Hampshire teams swept through their opponents. The Monarchs took care of the Boston Bandits, while the Cyclones got through the Walpole Express.
In the regular season, each team came away with a pair of victories over their in-state rival.
The final series of the Quarterfinals puts the Boston Jr. Rangers up against the New Jersey Rockets, with all three games at Breakaway Ice Center.
In the First Round, the Rangers battled through a three-game series with the Vermont Lumberjacks, while the Rockets swept their way through the Philadelphia Revolution.
In the regular season, the two teams split the pair of matchups with the Rangers winning 4-2 at the October Showcase, and the Rockets winning 3-2 at home in November.
