Philly Teams Each Seek Semi-Final Sweeps

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Day #18 of the EHL Playoffs brings with it a pair of huge Premier Division matchups. Last night, both Philadelphia teams won, pushing their opponents to the brink of elimination. For the Rockets, they return home to New Jersey this afternoon looking to even up their series with the Little Flyers. The Monarchs are in the same boat, as they hit the ice for Game 2 with the Jr. Flyers tonight at 6:00pm.

Premier Division Schedule

Game 1 yesterday for the Little Flyers started off a little shaky, as the Rockets jumped out to a 2-0 lead. Philadelphia clawed back though, and each team went back in forth until Nate Rogers iced the game with an empty-netter.

Up the road, the Jr. Flyers scored first and then held on late for a big victory in Game 1. Three different forwards scored for Philadelphia, while Derek Neal had each tally for New Hampshire.
