Chiefs Set to Host December Showcase

BOSTON, MA -- The Eastern Hockey League (EHL) is excited to resume the 2018-19 EHL Showcase Series this Thursday at 10:40 in Newington, CT. The schedule features 9 games per day on Thursday and Friday, and all 18 EHL teams in action. There will also 19th team in action in Connecticut as the EHL welcomes Kirkland Lake as a guest team for the third showcase of the season. The Kirkland Lake Gold Miners play out of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL), they own a record of 22-10-1 in their first 33 games.

EHL GAME OF THE WEEK
Boston Jr. Rangers vs. Philadelphia Revolution
12/14/18 at 8:20am - Newington Arena - Blue Rink

The Rangers and Revolution hit the ice for their second matchup of the season, after Boston won the first meeting 4-2 back on October 28th. Billy Girard was the difference in net for the Rangers, turning aside 35 of the 37 shots sent his way.

Breaking Down the First 187 Games of the Season

BOSTON, MA -- The weather has changed very quickly as of late, and Thanksgiving is already in the rearview mirror. It's hard to believe, but we are almost 3 months into the 6th season of the Eastern Hockey League (EHL). The first 187 games of the year have brought with them many great matchups and performances from players and teams across the league.

Below you'll find a breakdown with some of the key stats and numbers to date. The next set of TSR Hockey Stars of the Week will be released on Tuesday, December 4th. Prior to that however, we will announce our November Stars of the Month on Monday, December 3rd. Remember to catch the #Eshow all season long on HockeyTV.

Knights Host Jr. Flyers in the Game of the Week

BOSTON, MA -- The Eastern Hockey League (EHL) season keeps moving along with 14 more games in the next 5 days. The week ahead features 16 of the 19 teams in action, each with at least 1 final game before they take off for Thanksgiving break. A trio of teams (East Coast WizardsNew York Applecore, and Philadelphia Little Flyers) are already on break, as they don't play again until after the holiday. While the time off is usually very short at this time of year, it's key for all teams to head home with the momentum of having won their last game. Every matchup is important this week in the EHL.

Philadelphia Jr. Flyers vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights
11/18/18 at 1:30pm - Revolution Ice Centre

The Jr. Flyers and Knights wrap-up their home-and-home series and with a Sunday afternoon matchup in Pittston, PA. The 1:30pm puck drop is the final regular season matchup between the 2 teams, after the Knights won 5 of the 6 meetings last year. It’s important to note that 4 of those victories were by just 2 goals or less, and that includes a pair of games that went to overtime.
