Flori, Lloyd, Goldman Set to Join this Fall

BOSTON, MA -- Dating back to the formation of the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) in 2013, a total of 16 players have made their commitments to the Wentworth Institute of Technology while playing in the #Eshow. The Wentworth Leopards play out of the Commonwealth Coast Conference, and will be welcoming back 9 EHL alumni from their 2016-17 team. Along with this set of players, three more EHL alums will be joining Wentworth this Fall.

“Coach Pecora and I truly respect the EHL," said Wentworth assistant coach Ryan McGrath. "The league produces a battle-tested player that is well prepared for college hockey. The coaches in the EHL work extremely hard to place their players. Next season, the Wentworth roster will have a dozen EHL alumni. The league-wide showcases offer us an opportunity to evaluate hundreds of quality players in a single weekend.”

The three players that will be kicking off their collegiate hockey careers this Fall are Dante Flori (Boston Jr. Rangers), Brenden Lloyd (East Coast Wizards), and Justin Goldman (New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs). Each player will bring a different aspect to the table for Wentworth.

  • Flori and his 6'5" frame will give the Leopards more size, and a strong presence on the blue line.
  • Lloyd's speed will be key, as this was a major factor in him tallying 36 points this past season.
  • While Goldman also possesses top-notch speed, the native of Florida will look to keep improving on his solid vision that led to 17 assists this past season.

Be sure to check back in again next week for a new EHL Pipeline of the Week.
